In the 2000’s ARIMO bought SCARDASSI, one of the first European flexible card clothing factories. Founded in 1907 as Manifattura Italiana di Scardassi, it became the biggest Italian manufacturer in the last century.
ARIMO acquires the machinery, know-how and staff to make them its driving force in the production of raising and brushing fillets for finishing mills.
After having rationalized the organization and the production lines, the SCARDASSI DIVISION was created within ARIMO, becoming a reference point for the machine manufacturers and final users who are searching for reliable and high-quality card clothing and fillets both in the field of wool and top fine yarns and for the processing of cotton fabrics and synthetic fibers.
